MY NEW IDEAS

Last updated: February 2026

Welcome to MY NEW IDEAS. We value your privacy, transparency, and minimal data practices. This website is a non-commercial, text-based open-knowledge platform created to share ideas freely under an open-source spirit.
We do not sell products.
We do not display advertisements.
We do not monetize visitor data.
We even maintain almost the same user experience (user interface) for both Java Script enabling and disabling groups of users (only the dark mode that differs). This decision was based on respecting both groups equally.
All users visits are literally anonymous.
This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you visit our website.

1. Nature of This Website
 Non-commercial; no advertisements.
No product sales or monetization of visitor data.
 No behavioral advertising or profiling.
Provides a consistent user experience for both JavaScript-enabled and JavaScript-disabled users (aside from optional dark mode).

2. Personal Data
 No account registration required.
No collection of names, emails, or contact details.
No collection of IP addresses for identification purposes.
No use of cookies, localStorage, sessionStorage, browser fingerprinting, or device identifiers.
Note: Like all websites, technical information (e.g., IP address, browser metadata) may be processed automatically by hosting infrastructure solely to deliver content securely. This information is not used by us to identify visitors.

3. Analytics & User Interaction
Anonymous and Minimal Tracking
All website tracking is non-identifiable by design. Data collected is strictly event-based and includes:
Interaction events: clicks on social media share buttons, in-site search submissions, copying text snippets, email link clicks, and RSS subscription clicks and bot visits detection.
Engagement signals: time spent on a page (e.g., whether a visitor remains for less than a minute or more), scrolling ...etc.
Contextual data: the page title where the event occurred. Page titles reflect the general topic of published content and are not used to identify individual visitors.
No data is linked to any individual user, account, or browsing profile.
Legal Basis — Legitimate Interest (GDPR)
Processing is carried out under Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The legitimate interest pursued is improving content quality and understanding general reader engagement patterns. We have assessed that this interest is not overridden by the fundamental rights or freedoms of visitors, given that:
The data collected is strictly limited in scope and purpose.
No personal identification is possible from the data points collected.
No data is shared with third-party advertisers or used for profiling.
Visitors retain the right to object to this processing at any time (see Section 4 below).
Third-Party Data Handling
Event data is transmitted to and processed by Google Apps Script for aggregated, non-identifiable statistical purposes, only to evaluate site activity, and improve its content. Google acts solely as a service provider and processes data per its own privacy policies. No data is shared with advertising networks or other third-party tracking services.

4. Right to Object (GDPR — EEA Visitors)
Visitors in the European Economic Area (EEA) have the right under Article 21 of the GDPR to object to the processing of their interaction data when it is based on legitimate interest. The legitimate interest is limited to understanding general engagement patterns and improving content quality. To exercise this right or ask questions about our processing practices, please contact us via the website's Contact page.

5. Cookies and Storage Technologies
No cookies or persistent storage (localStorage / sessionStorage) are used.
No tracking advertising cookies, or behavioral profiling tools.
Because no tracking cookies are used, a cookie consent banner is not required.

6. GDPR (European Economic Area Visitors)
No behavioral profiling, targeted advertising, or identity-based tracking occurs.
Limited technical processing may occur to deliver website content and maintain security.
Aggregated, non-identifiable statistics are used solely for content improvement.
No automated decision-making or profiling takes place.

7. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
We do not sell or share personal information.
We do not build profiles or engage in cross-context behavioral advertising.
Because the site does not collect personal identifiers for commercial purposes, CCPA/CPRA rights are limited in practical scope.
Visitors may contact us with any privacy-related concerns.

8. Data Security
No database of personal profiles is maintained.
Basic technical safeguards are used to maintain website integrity.
No personal data is shared or sold.
We, don't (and cann't) share or sell your data, simply because we have none of it.

9. Children's Privacy
This website is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted information through this site, please contact us so we may address it promptly.
